When organizations and industries face large-scale challenges, Starfish Leadership helps develop the relationships necessary to grasp and tackle what’s ahead. 

 

This program was originally developed when members of the White House National Security Council reached out to Starfish Leadership founder Ori Brafman for help on how to leverage social media to counter violent extremism. Starfish Leadership designed, coordinated, and facilitated convenings between key stakeholders in Big Tech and the U.S. Department of Defense held at Stanford University, Harvard University, and the Obama White House. The results of these convenings were classified by the U.S. government.

 

Additional projects include creating global networks for peace and helping industry players in finance and healthcare understand and grapple with the implications of emerging technologies. Our current interests lay in helping to bridge the growing divide between Silicon Valley and the national security establishment.
